Privacy and security
Understand how access to event information works, and discuss your requirements with us before getting started.
Send us your questions or procurement checklist so we can work through the information your team needs.
Information for your team’s review
-
Data residency
Files and exports are stored on Amazon S3 in the EU (Ireland, eu-west-1).
-
Encryption
Every connection to Eventication uses HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
-
Access control
Organisers work with moderator levels per event, so each person sees only what their role allows. Accounts can enable two-factor authentication with backup codes.
-
Activity records
Event logs record actions and changes, including who made them. Exports are available for review, with a limit of 10,000 records per export.
-
Consent and rights
Our privacy policy explains how to make a request about your personal data. Contact us if you need help finding the relevant information.
-
Crew account details
Crew can create accounts and update their details. Your organisation still needs to decide what information to collect and who should have access to it.
-
Processors and agreements
See the privacy policy for processor information. Contact us to discuss the agreements your organisation needs to review.
Questions about privacy and security
How can our data protection team review Eventication?
Send us your requirements and questions. We can discuss permissions, personal data and the documentation relevant to your proposed event setup.
Does the software make an event compliant automatically?
Your organisation needs to assess its own data collection, permissions and processes. We can explain the platform’s controls and help your team review the proposed setup.
